Today, in the National Assembly, we saluted a great lady from our region, Mrs. Betty Riel.

Mrs. Riel organizes various fundraising activities through her foundation, in order to offer free medical transportation to people with cancer.

Thanks to the SABEC organization which coordinates everything, our already weakened citizens can have this much appreciated helping hand.

Thank you Mrs. Riel and thank you to all the volunteers who give countless hours.

You are precious to our community.

This morning, at the National Assembly, we highlighted the outstanding involvement of a volunteer in the Haut-Saint-Laurent, Mr. Alain Castagner.

Formerly elected in the Municipality of Saint-Anicet, he now devotes much of his time to serving the community.

Whether for SABEC, for the COMMUNIC-ACTION Project, this dedicated man is exemplary.

Thank you Mr Castagner.
